  • At Dmac Racks, our team designs all racks in 3D modeling software to ensure the best fit to each vehicle. This image shows the Commander roof rail in green, and the yellow mounting bracket secured in place with the grey Dmac Rail Tab. Vertical slots in the lower (yellow) and upper (red) brackets allow for leveling after install, as well as accommodating the arch of the roof.
  • Rooftop mounting brackets attach securely to the Commander's factory rails in any location. No drilling or modifications required for installation.

This is the Dmac Racks flagship roof rack version (XD), built heavy duty for extreme demands on any adventure you can dream up.

We designed this rack from the ground up, by request, specifically for the Jeep Commander.  Mounts to factory rails, no drilling or other mods required for installation, keeping your Commander fully stock/unmodified.  With two people, we found this rack only takes less than 2 hours to install!

  • Side Rails: 
    • Material:  1/4"thk, 6061-T6 laser cut aircraft aluminum
    • Tie down points:  Complete with our unique Dmac Racks "ParaSlots" for quickly tying anything down using 600 Paracord
    • Powder coated black finish with slight texture 
    • Recessed mountain profile cutout at rear of rail.. and YOU get to customize the color!  (select at checkout).  Set your Dmac Rack apart from other garden variety roof racks on the road, and make it your own.
  • Crossbars: 
    • 6ea included with purchase.  Black anodized Aluminum.  
    • Massive 1.5" x 3" crossbar profile; one of the largest in the roof rack industry.  (Most manufacturers use 1" x 2" crossbars).
    • Crossbar rated load capacity:  500lb (each)  static w/ 1/4" deflection
      • (Do not exceed your vehicle's roof capacity.  Our racks are intentionally overdesigned, and have far greater capacity than the roof rating.)
